Safe Place where Every Child Strives
Our Story
At SPECS Foundation, Inc., we are committed to empowering marginalized children and communities by providing care, education, and opportunities for development. Founded on the principles of compassion and integrity, we strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where every child counts.
Foundation & Roots
SPECS Foundation traces its roots back to August 1970, when the Holy Trinity Center and Good Shepherd Family Center began serving the urban poor. On October 16, 1987, the foundation was formally established under the leadership of Mr. Jose Hilado and Ptra. Miriam Macaspac.
Expansion & Safety
Key milestones include launching a feeding program and temporary shelter for street children, and establishing the Speed the Light Center for Girls (1996) and Kaagapay Center for Boys (1997), providing safe havens for needy children.
